Q: What are your opening hours on 31 December 2023?

Regular Trade: Riverland Bar will be closed for regular trade. However our sister venue Pilgrim Bar (next door) will be open 12-4pm.

NYE Doors Open: 6:00pm

NYE All-Inclusive Package: 8:00pm-12:30am

Venue Closed: All guests to vacate by 1:00am

 

Q: What is on the drink and food menu?

Food: Roving canapes subjected to seasonal change.

Menu: TBC

Drinks: Beer, wine, house spirits, soft drinks.

Menu: TBC

No additional food or drinks available to purchase.

 

Q: How is the food and drinks served?

A: Staff will be roaming the venue with food. Drinks will be served from multiple bar around the venue. Beer, wine, house spirits, soft drinks.

 

Q: What is the entertainment and when will it be on?

A: DJ Gav Campbell.

 

Q: Do you cater to dietaries?

A: Yes, dietaries are catered for in the food options that will be roaming the venue. Severe allergies should be identified to staff.

 

Q: How do I show my ticket?

A: Your ticket was purchased via Eventbrite. You can show your ticket on a mobile device or your ticket can be printed off. Our staff will scan your ticket on entry.

 

Q: Is this an 18+ event and will I have to show ID?

A: This event is 18+ only and staff may request to see your ID on entry or at any time throughout the night.

 

Q: Can I reserve a table?

A: This is not a seated event and no table reservations are available. There are some tables throughout the venue which are available on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend you arrive early if you wish to secure a table.

Groups occupying a larger table than they require may be asked to move to a smaller table.

 

Q: What time does the event start and finish?

A: Doors open at 8:00pm at which time the drinks and food package begins. The event finishes at 12:30am with all guests needing to depart the venue by 1:00am.

 

Q: Where do I enter the venue?

A: Entry via River Terrace (stairs near Transport Hotel) only. No entry via riverside bike paths. Over 18 only, security staff will check photo ID (physical copy of passport or Australian driver’s license only). Tickets must be shown at entry and will be scanned in exchange for wristband.

 

Q: Is the venue wheelchair friendly?

A: Yes. Venue can be accessed via lift or ramp and we have accessible bathrooms, spaces and bars.

 

Q: Are there any prohibited items?

A: Chairs, tables, external food or drinks, dangerous items.

 

Q: Can I re-sell my ticket?

A: Tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable. We are not liable for anyone giving their ticket to someone else.

 

Q: What if I can’t come anymore, do you offer a refund?

A: Tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable.

In the case where the event is unable to proceed and is cancelled for any reason, tickets purchased will be fully refunded.

 

Q: Can I be kicked-out of the event? Do you have security at the event?

A: Management reserves the right to prohibit entry of all persons under the influence of drugs and alcohol, showing disorderly or inappropriate behaviour.

Security will be present for the entirety of the event and any intoxicated or disorderly patrons, or any patrons who make staff or guests uncomfortable, will be asked to leave, with no refund available.

 

Q: Will there be any tickets sold on the door on the night of the event?

A: Yes, only if we have tickets left to sell.

 

Q: Do you have a coat check?

A: No.

 

Q: Will there be heaters if it is cold?

A: We endeavor to keep you warm but please remember this is Melbourne and we are an outdoor venue, please dress appropriately.

 

Q: What happens if it rains?

A:  The event will still go on.
